THE NEXT CHAPTER IN THE LIFE OF THE ROCKINGHAM HOTEL SITE IS ABOUT TO BEGIN
The landowners, The Foreshore Group P/L is pleased to announce that they are preparing an application with the City of Rockingham for a tavern on the corner of Rockingham Beach Road and Flinders Lane.
To enable the new tavern, the existing buildings need to be demolished.
The landowners have lodged the application with the City to facilitate the demolition works.
The existing buildings are in poor condition and attracting antisocial behaviour.
The old Rockingham Hotel has sinking foundations and its heritage features are long gone.
THE LANDOWNERS ARE ALSO WORKING WITH THE CITY OF ROCKINGHAM ON A VISION FOR THE REST OF THE SITE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY'S NEW PRECINCT STRUCTURE PLAN.
